Merry Christmas

Christmas has arrived.... it's Christmas morning... a bright crisp morning here in Stepps... Emma is up as usual early (6am) and she is very excited, this is her 2nd Christmas and she has been eyeing the Christmas tree and the presents... for days... wondering why she can't open them ... Daniel still sleepingon the other hand loves his sleep (a bit like Alan really) and he got up after 8am (still in pyjamas) and went straight to the tree to open his first Christmas present... And there were lots of presents to open...


Daniel got:

• lots of puzzles (he is really into them) for example he got Thomas the Tank puzzle, Incredibles, the Power Rangers Mystic Force, Shrek puzzle...
• lots of clothes (including a white t-shirt with Tom & Jerry - made by Vanja)
• books including the entire Thomas the Tank engine collection (50 books) as well as Shrek the third and Thomas the Tank 2008 annual
• cars including big jeep and jet skis
• shrek the third DVD and Tom & Jerry Tales vol 1 & 2 dvds (joint present with emma)
  

Emma got:

• puzzles too, she is also into puzzles
• toy kitchen
• clothes
• Doll cottage
• doll called Eva
  

I am almost two... and terrible too!

So I am almost two and I am going to shout about it. No seriously, everything bothers me... I hate when they make me do things I don't like... I love NO, it's my favourite word in the whole world... I don't like when Daniel tells me that I like something, I instantly don't like that... I will always try to be unreasonable! Yes, so I'm two, going on twenty... If I call my mum, she needs to answer within two seconds or I'll scream my head off as if something terrible has happened. And if I don't get my own way, then everyone watch out... you are all in trouble... And I only want one of something, so when I said I want chocolate, my mummy will say you can't have chocolate and I will say 'just one', she will say none, I say one, be reasonable... JUST ONE!!!!!!

Humpty Dumpty Christmas Party

It's Wednesday and it's Humpty Dumpty annual Christmas
Party... Emma loves going to the Humpty Dumpty (every Wednesday in Stepps Church Hall) and here are a few pictures showing how much she enjoying being there!

Santa Claus made an appearance and brought her a Makka Pakka Bath Toy which she loves... She knows that Santa brings presents and she was so impatient to get her present. She was one of the last ones to get it and as soon as her name was called she ran (on her own) and grabbed it...

And Christmas Tree is UP

It's almost two weeks before Christmas.

Today, Daniel and Emma helped me put the Christmas tree up... & as it's Tuesday it's the only day when both kids are at home so when we got up I told them it was time to decorate our tree. They were so excited, and they managed not to break any baubles either...

So here they are relaxing on the couch eating a healthy diet of Walkers Crisp (lights... haha like that makes any difference)...

Daniel's 3rd Birthday Party Invitation

To all our friends and family...

This is to invite to you all to Daniel's third birthday party on Saturday, 30th June. The party will be held in Fun Factory, Brewsters, Stepps! I hope you will be able to make it!

Daniel's personality at almost 3 years of age!

Daniel was born on 27th June 2004 and he is in Cedar Nursery four mornings a week. On Tuesday morning, when he is off we go to the baby gym. Daniel loves to play with his cars and he loves TV, his favourite programme just now is Power Rangers Mystic Force although we try and control his addiction, it's hard though... he really does have a bit of an addictive personality and he will be cautious at first in the sense that he doesn't like new things but if he really likes something he will just insist on doing it over and over again...

He also has a photographic memory, he will remember things when he was little and will recall them easily. He looks and examines things deeply and is very analytical... hopefully this will mean that he will be good at school.. On the other hand he does get bored quite easily too, so this sometimes contradicts his analytical skills... But this is not unusual for kids of his age (apparently)!

He is still learning his people skills and can be a bit rough with other kids and is a bit rough with Emma, his little sister...

He is bilingual and speaks English and Croatian... He can count to ten in Croatian and twelve in English...

Emma's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Emma's birthday on Tuesday, 6th February 2007 in the Play & Stay, Fort Shopping Centre, Glasgow.

We had great fun as the place has a lovely soft play area with lots of toys. Emma particularly liked 'driving' a car, and a bike too... We had plenty of kids there too. There was Imran, Liam, Calum, Ross, Hannah, Stuart, Lauren, and Katie! Emma loved it and so did Daniel too!!!
